In an apparent display of humility, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra has made very important clarifications by clearing the air on Biafra leadership.

He reportedly said he is only the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and not the ancient nation of Biafra.

The Supreme Leader of Biafra, according to the IPOB leader remains Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu, the late Biafran warlord.

He said: “I am the Supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Ojukwu is (still) the Supreme leader of the whole of Biafra.”

On what and who inspired him on the renewed Biafra restoration mission, he said, ”Of course late Chief Ojukwu was the one who stood up to pronounce the modern Biafra. In that respect in that regard, he (Ojukwu) is a very huge inspiration and remains our supreme leader anytime, any day.”
