Marvin Humes dresses newborn daughter in Chelsea FC nappies: “Starting her off the right way!”

The former JLS star is clearly keen to have a blue family…

He is a passionate supporter of Chelsea FC. But, in case there were any doubt about that, Marvin Humes has re-asserted his love for the premiere league team, this week.

The former JLS star, 31, took to social media on Monday where he shared an image of himself dressing his new-born baby daughter in the club’s official merchandise.

Sharing the snap on Instagram, he captioned it: “Just about to change Valentina’s nappy..starting her off the right way!!!”.

Unsurprisingly, the image – which prioritised the royal blue packaging – garnered numerous likes and a slew of comments from fellow football fans.

One cheeky follower responded: “Sorry, but you got the wrong blue team…should be Everton!”, while another said: “Doing things properly, she’ll be an amazing addition to the blue family!”.

Another chimed in: “Well I guess she’ll show you what she thinks of those….. soon be filled with wee and poo”.

He then uploaded a second image which showed him with former bandmate JB Gill. Capturing them attentively admiring the newborn, the caption said: “From being on tour wearing the same clothes to changing nappies wearing the same clothes! Nothing changes ay?”.

Another, which showed JLS reunited, said: “4 men, 1 boy and a little lady”.

The posts come just four days after Marvin revealed his gorgeous wife Rochelle delivered their second baby on 9 March.

Shortly after he tenderly wrote on Twitter: “Couldn’t be a happier or prouder man, what another incredible blessing! My beautiful wife gave birth to our 2nd girl Valentina Raine Humes.”

The former Saturdays singer is currently on maternity leave from her job hosting Saturday game show Ninja Warrior UK.

She already has hands-on Marvin, 31, lined up for the new baby ’s night feeds. She says: “Marvin works evenings and gets home from DJing at 1am so he can do the night shift with the baby. It’s important for dads to bond too.

“As the mum, you spend nine months carrying and bonding with the baby so you have that instant connection. It’s nice for the dad to have their own special time.”
